The Collaboration Course is designed to help your child:
The course includes interview preparation & public speaking, focusing on confidence and both verbal and non-verbal communication. This is very useful for those approaching and preparing for 11+ or other types of interviews. These interviews increasingly now focus on group work and how your child interacts with others, so developing collaboration skills can be a helpful form of preparation.
The course includes fun activities which encourage the children to explore ways of working together to solve team challenges and timed exercises. They will learn about compromise, flexibility and the importance of listening. Specific activities include working as a team to herd ‘blind sheep’ into a pen using only noises under timed conditions, as well as making a team tower as tall as possible.

Our team is pleased to offer this course at Caldicott, a preparatory school located in Buckinghamshire. Caldicott’s campus is a mixture of tradition and modern-updates, making it a fantastic site for children to grow and learn about important life skills from our Role Models.
Our courses are available for children aged 5-7, 8-10 & 11-13. They typically run for either 3 or 5 consecutive days.
All our courses are run in small groups. This ensures our Role Model can get to know each child individually.
To help with this, before the course begins, we ask you to answer a few questions about your child and any specific needs they might have. We will also ask about food allergies, medical conditions and any additional needs that our Role Model needs to know about.
It will only take a minute or two, and it ensures our Role Model has all the information they need to ensure your child has the best experience possible.
from parents & children that attended courses in the collaboration series.
Fun and fast paced learning! There will be a mixture of games, challenges, stories and activities all delivered by our Role Models who are experienced with working with this age range of children. There will be breaks built into the structure of the day including time for outside play (weather permitting!) during the lunch break.
Our courses are built on three elements:
Our courses follow an education framework developed by teachers, education experts and business leaders. This framework, based on the work of the Partnership for 21st century learning', defines the skills and knowledge that children need to thrive at school, at home and beyond.
Our courses have been written by our Character Education team who are highly qualified educators with over 24 years of teaching experience. Our content emphasises the importance of developing essential key life skills alongside academic attainment, in order to thrive in life.
Our highly experienced team of Role Models are passionate about both education and social & emotional wellbeing. They’re energetic, engaging and curious. They’re adept at combining educational rigour with fun, to create active learning environments that children love. All have been interviewed by our Recruitment Team and are reference and DBS checked.
Yes of course! Contact us for information about multi-buy and referral discounts.
Our courses are not designed only for those who may be struggling with specific life skills. We believe all children can build on these essential skills in order to reach their full potential. Your child may need a boost in confidence, to strengthen their resilience or they may just need an opportunity to go outside of their comfort zone and challenge themselves by working with new people.
At some venues we are able to look after your child for additional hours before and after the usual course time. We call this the Extended Day package. Outside of the course hours, one of our Role Models will run some extra-curricular games and activities.
An Extended Day Package costs between £15 and £25 depending on the number of hours of additional childcare. If this is available, it will be listed at the top of the course page, showing the specific hours and the price. If the message is not shown at the top of the course page, then we don’t offer an extended day at this venue.
It will also be shown at the checkout as an optional extra, charged for each day of the course. If you would like to use the Extended Day facility but only on specific days, please call or email us with your requirements.
Subject to demand, we can offer transport to and from Brook Green and Caldicott School everyday. Pickup will be from the south side of Brook Green, between Luxemburg Gardens and Mercedes Place to Caldicott School at 08:45. Children will arrive back at 16:00.
We will be working with Ontime minicabs to offer 8 seater minicabs as the Caldicott minibus service is unavailable due to insurance complications. Ontime's drivers all have had enhanced DBS checks and are fully responsible for the children’s wellbeing. No staff, other than the bus driver will be on the bus.
To use this service, please email firstname.lastname@example.org at least 14 days before the course begins, and let us know which days you require transport. This service will cost £25 per child per day.
