Each day a story is shared based around the theme of confidence. Then, creative activities help the children link the learning from the story to their own everyday lives. Daily mindfulness activities are included to help the children learn to manage their emotions, as well as a daily ‘mission’ which is a simple task to help them embed their learning. Brilliant ‘Billy the Bunny’ accompanies the children throughout the week and is used to help the children talk about how they feel. Discussing certain situations Billy might lack confidence in can sometimes be an easier step than talking directly about our own experiences. See below for the specific themes covered.
