Camila is a drama school graduate with a passion for youth work, films, and podcasts. She is a working actor and theatre-maker with a love for political theatre. As well as being a performer she is a youth facilitator with experience in online and in-person facilitation. She has a background in drama, playwriting, and creative facilitation with a focus on well-being. She likes to use art, games, drama, and buckets of playfulness in her classes. When she’s not working in the creative arts she likes to spend her time belly laughing with friends, hanging out with her pets, and eating delicious food. Her role models are Maya Angelou and Safia Miney as they are both courageous women who changed society for the better. One of Camila’s favorite Maya Angelou quotes (there are too many excellent quotes to choose from!) is, ‘Do the best you can do until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.’ She is very excited to be a course leader with Role Models!
