Linda is an Art and Design teacher and has worked in secondary schools across Sussex for over 12 years. She loves working with students to develop their creativity and bring out their inner artist. Linda has a particular focus on ensuring all students in her care have confidence in their own abilities and know the value of resilience and overcoming obstacles.
Linda has also worked with younger children, running creative workshops for 4-8 year olds in Sussex and her homeland of Ireland. Her favourite of these workshops involved team building tasks such as making huge cardboard cities and papier mache alien civilizations!
In her spare time, Linda enjoys drawing and painting as well as sewing clothes for herself and her young daughter. During maternity leave she set up a successful Etsy business selling handmade baby clothes which attracted 100% 5* reviews over 2 years trading. Linda also volunteers in her local museum and art gallery.
Linda’s role model is the artist Grayson Perry who is not afraid to be different and strives to bring people together through his work.
