Become a Course Leader

A fantastic opportunity for individuals who have experience working with groups of children and are passionate about character education. Both school holiday and term time opportunities are available to suit your schedule. (Please not that, at present, we can only offer work to those who have permanent resident status in the UK, U.S., Australia, New Zealand or Canada.)

What does the role involve?

 

The Offline Course Role

  • You will deliver the content which will involve sharing information, leading discussions, facilitating games and challenges and helping the children develop their skills.
  • You will liaise with parents to give verbal feedback and complete reports for the children you work with.
  • You are expected to supervise groups of a maximum of 15 children.
  • Teaching experience (whether qualified or not) is ideal.

The Online Course Role

  • You will lead your own group of up to 9 children, online using Zoom, delivering the content of the course or session. This involves leading discussions, delivering content, facilitating challenges with the children, and helping them to develop their skills.
  • You will write an end of session email each day which gets sent to the parents of the group you are working with.

You will be trained to become a ‘guru’ in key life skills such as leadership, resilience, creative problem solving and collaboration.

Occasional Amazon vouchers given at the teams discretion for great feedback.

Five free Online Life Skills sessions for friends and family once you are actively working with us.

For Offline Courses in the UK the pay is a minimum of £535.34/courses + stat holiday pay at 12.07%, to a maximum of £803.07/courses

For Online Courses & 60 minute  Online Session the base pay is £22.31/60 minute session + stat holiday pay at 12.07%

Become a Volunteer

Role Models is a London based education company which offers Life Skills Courses across the globe. Our courses focus on Resilience, Collaboration, Leadership and Creative Problem Solving. These courses run in the school holidays and are designed to help children thrive.

We are looking for intelligent, friendly, outgoing and creative students to help us deliver our courses!

What you will learn

Our Role Models (who facilitate the courses) are hired because
of their inspiring
personalities, so you will be working with some
great people like actors and
musicians

We practice what we preach – volunteering with us,
you will learn loads of useful
tools for confident communication,
effective collaboration, creative problem solving and leadership
 

Where and When

We need volunteers in February and October Half Term, the Easter holidays and over the Summer holidays. Our courses run in schools in London such as Chelsea academy and Wimbledon High and are usually easily accessible by public transport.
