Brilliant Me & My Confidence is specifically designed to help your child:
This course uses the power of storytelling and creative activities to help children believe in themselves. 'Brilliant Billy the Bunny’ accompanies the children throughout the course to help them navigate their emotions in a fun and supportive environment.
Each day, two stories are shared based around the theme of confidence. Each story is followed by a creative activity which helps the children link the learning from the story to their own everyday lives. Daily mindfulness activities are included to help the children learn to manage their emotions.
The stories shared in The Brilliant Me & My Confidence course are based around the following themes:
An example story shared during the course is the charming ‘Perfectly Norman’ by Tom Percival, a bold and uplifting book about daring to be different and having the courage to dance to your own tune. The story is shared and discussed as a group, followed by an activity which explores the things that we should celebrate about ourselves. The children make their own pair of ‘wonderful wings’. decorating them with all the things that make them special.

Our team is delighted to be able to offer this course at Alleyn’s School, an independent, day school sponsored by the Church of England. It is located in Dulwich London and its unique architecture and classrooms provide an encouraging environment for children to learn about important life skills with our Role Models.
Our courses are available for children aged 5-7, 8-10 & 11-13. They typically run for either 3 or 5 consecutive days.
All our courses are run in small groups. This ensures our Role Model can get to know each child individually.
To help with this, before the course begins, we ask you to answer a few questions about your child and any specific needs they might have. We will also ask about food allergies, medical conditions and any additional needs that our Role Model needs to know about.
It will only take a minute or two, and it ensures our Role Model has all the information they need to ensure your child has the best experience possible.
At Role Models, our priority is the welfare of our students and staff. We have therefore put strict health & safety policies in place to minimize risks related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
from parents & children that attended courses in the collaboration series.
Fun and fast paced learning! There will be a mixture of games, challenges, stories and activities all delivered by our Role Models who are experienced with working with this age range of children. There will be breaks built into the structure of the day including a 30 minute play during the lunch break.
Our courses are built on three elements:
Our courses follow an education framework developed by teachers, education experts and business leaders. This framework, based on the work of the Partnership for 21st century learning', defines the skills and knowledge that children need to thrive at school, at home and beyond.
Our courses have been written by our Character Education team who are highly qualified educators with over 24 years of teaching experience. Our content emphasises the importance of developing essential key life skills alongside academic attainment, in order to thrive in life.
Our highly experienced team of Role Models are passionate about both education and social & emotional wellbeing. They’re energetic, engaging and curious. They’re adept at combining educational rigour with fun, to create active learning environments that children love. All have been interviewed by our Recruitment Team and are reference and DBS checked.
Yes of course! Contact us for information about multi-buy and referral discounts.
Our courses are not designed only for those who may be struggling with specific life skills. We believe all children can build on these essential skills in order to reach their full potential. Your child may need a boost in confidence, to strengthen their resilience or they may just need an opportunity to go outside of their comfort zone and challenge themselves by working with new people.
At some venues we are able to look after your child for additional hours before and after the usual course time. We call this the Extended Day package. Outside of the course hours, one of our Role Models will run some extra-curricular games and activities.
An Extended Day Package costs between £15 and £25 depending on the number of hours of additional childcare. If this is available, it will be listed at the top of the course page, showing the specific hours and the price. If the message is not shown at the top of the course page, then we don’t offer an extended day at this venue.
It will also be shown at the checkout as an optional extra, charged for each day of the course. If you would like to use the Extended Day facility but only on specific days, please call or email us with your requirements.
