Emma is very excited to begin her new role as Education Manager at Role Models. As a mother of two, she has developed a deep appreciation for the development of the whole child, learning to nurture and celebrate both her children’s academic and emotional growth.
This experience as a mother, as well as over 10 years in the education profession, has fuelled her dedication to character education. As predominantly an early childhood educator, she is enthusiastic about inspiring a love of learning and recognises the fundamental need to nurture a strong foundation of skills, including leadership, confidence, resilience, creative problem solving, collaboration, and a growth mindset—skills that form the content of Role Models ethos and practice.
Outside of her role, Emma loves a welly walk through the countryside where she lives, often having to pull her children out of the mud. She also loves singing and regularly belts out tunes with questionable lyrics and a rather embarrassing inability to remember the song title.
As you may have guessed, Emma's role models are her children, who constantly radiate joy, positivity, and enthusiasm. They remind her daily to be grateful for what she has and to be present in the moment with them.
