Founder and Managing Director
Hugo is the Founder and Managing Director of Role Models. With a degree in Psychology and a background in consultancy, Hugo is at the helm of the Role Models growth and success.
A Wellington and Durham University graduate, Hugo started his career as a management consultant at EY. Specialising in performance optimisation and project management, he gained a wealth of experience working with financial services and central government. In 2014, Hugo decided to take all he had learnt from consultancy and follow his passion for Character Education. Inspired by his Psychology degree (and an au pair who refused to play cricket with him!) Hugo founded Role Models, an organisation which inspires children to follow their passions outside of academia and learn essential Life Skills to help them thrive.
Hugo is a keen sportsman and particularly enjoys playing cricket, rugby, hockey and golf. He enjoys caring for his beloved window boxes and is a trustee of a charity delivering holiday camps for children with special educational needs.
Hugo’s Role Model is Jane Austen; a lady who managed to make ‘olden day’ life come alive.
