Throughout her teaching career, Lauren has been passionate about providing children with a range of skills to help them be successful in their lives and help them be the best version of themselves. Character Education is vital for the world in which our younger generation will grow up in and leadership, reliance, creative thinking and collaboration skill will enable them to thrive.

My role model growing up was Sally Gunnell. There was a time when all I wanted to do was sprint and between 1992 and 1994, Sally Gunnell won every international event open to her – what an inspiration for this 10-year-old girl. Over the years, I have added more role models to my list, many of whom have been the amazing children that I have taught.
